Job Summary:
As a Senior Unlaunched Content Developer, you are responsible for overseeing a specific area of the Unlaunched Content Development team. Your job includes writing web content for new Scorpion clients before the launch of their website; editing client-provided and freelanced content; communicating with our internal teams; organizing projects to ensure they meet deadlines; acting as a resource for our internal writers; and assisting the Director of Unlaunched Content Development in ensuring your area has the tools they need.
You are expected to write and edit content that is unique, thoroughly researched, cohesively presented, and optimized for search in accordance to the latest SEO best practices. As a Senior Unlaunched Content Developer, you are also a point of contact in your area of expertise for internal and external writers, as well as our internal development teams, and will provide the Director with any relevant information or changes in your respective area.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director and internal and external writers to answer questions and schedule projects
Act as a point of contact for your area of expertise
Lead trainings and ensure all writers have the latest information on Scorpion style and SEO best practices
Produce unique, factually accurate, grammatically correct, and stylistically polished content
Closely follow written instructions and create quality content that meets the specifications listed in the Content Request
Edit content for factual accuracy, grammatical accuracy, and in-house style standards
Keep up with the latest SEO best practices and seek out continual training and knowledge
Communicate with internal teammates and freelancers in-person and via email an in a timely manner
Adhere to project deadlines
Requirements
Must be able to use a computer and remain in a stationary position 95% of the day.
Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
Must be able to work from 1AM-10AM
