Job Summary: Modern Hydrogen has an immediate opening for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant. As a member of the G&A team, you will directly support the development of Modern Hydrogenís breakthrough energy technology by ensuring our accounting records are complete and accurate. Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger and prepare financial statements following GAAP. Ensure timely and accurate entry of information into the company accounting system. Prepare and post journal entries including revenue adjustments, cost accruals, and labor re classes, and ensure all postings to the GL are accurate and appropriate. Support the 5-day month-end close and balance sheet account reconciliations. Support external audit and tax requirements, providing schedules, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Prepare cash flow reporting and maintain a 13-week rolling forecast. Assist in establishing and maintaining asset and inventory tracking processes. Support quarter and year-end close process. Maintain and evolve all accounting processes ñ including A/P, AR, close and reporting. Support monthly financial reporting to project, technology, commercialization and G&A teams. Support banking relationships, credit card issuance, and account reconciliations. Process company payroll. Prepare specialized reports and accounting data analysis as requested. Other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Strong ethics and respect for the handling of confidential information. Bachelorís degree in accounting or finance. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance positions. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP standards and updated guidance. Strong attention to detail with emphasis on meeting deadlines. Highly organized with the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills, proficient in MS365. Prior ERP experience. Preferred Qualifications: Recent NetSuite ERP experience. Experience with startups or fast-growing small businesses (50-100 people).
