Accounting/ Finance & Business Analyst

We seek a detail-oriented Accounting/ Finance & Business Analyst to support our

finance and operations teams. The Accounting & Business Analyst will report to the CFO and play a key role in financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.

This role will be responsible for analyzing financial data, optimizing accounting processes, and providing insights that drive business decisions. Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and trends to support business decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Assist with contract auditing, processing, and follow-up with vendors and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain financial models to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Work closely with operations to improve accounting workflows and reporting structures.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Assist with financial compliance, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance accounting software integration and automation.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in accounting, finance, or business analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
• Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience with process automation and financial system improvements is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
