Luxury Travel Designer / Consultant

The Luxury Travel Designer is responsible for creating bespoke travel experiences tailored to the unique preferences and needs of high-end clients. This role involves curating exclusive itineraries, selecting luxury accommodations, arranging private tours, and ensuring every detail of the trip exceeds client expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of luxury travel destinations, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill the desires of discerning travelers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget.
• Design personalized travel itineraries that include luxury accommodations, exclusive tours, fine dining experiences, and other high-end services.
• Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements including flights, transfers, reservations, and special requests.
• Maintain strong relationships with luxury hotels, tour operators, and other service providers to secure the best possible experiences for clients.
• Provide 24/7 support to clients during their travels to address any issues or changes that may arise.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in luxury travel and continuously seek out new destinations and experiences to offer clients.

   

Required Professional Experience & Skills

• Proven Expertise in Luxury Travel: Professional experience working directly within the luxury travel industry.
• Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex itineraries clearly, engage effectively with a discerning clientele, and build strong professional relationships across internal and externalpartners.
• Composure Under Pressure: Adept at managing multiple,complex tasks and priorities simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
• Relationship Management: Proven capability to develop, nurture, and maintain high-value client and supplier relationships, ensuring client loyalty and repeat business.

• Meticulous Attention to Detail: An unwavering commitment to accuracy in all documentation and itinerary planning, ensuring a flawless, exceptional customer experience from inquiry to post-trip follow-up.

   

Preferred Qualifications

• Bespoke Design History: A verifiable history of personally designing and executing bespoke, high-end luxury travel experiences (e.g., custom private tours, yacht charters, multi-country journeys).
• Customer Service Excellence: Prior experience in a direct customer service or client-facing role where resolving complex issues and maintaining client satisfaction were primary responsibilities.
