The Position

We’re looking for a superstar Podcast & Social Media VA with a focus on Podcasting, Social Media and YouTube management. In this long-term role, you’ll be leading the charge on podcast production, social media, and YouTube content creation for an Australian-based business. About the role

This is a role like no other where:

• You’ll work remotely from your home, creating content for multiple brands within one business, by managing and publishing podcast content across across podcast platforms, YouTube, and social channels.

• You’ll be responsible for creating and aligning content across several brands, in addition to maintaining brand tone of voice.

• If you’re experienced in content creation, podcast editing, YouTube management, and if you’re a whizz when it comes to growing and expanding a business brand, we want to hear from you.

The Details

• Job Location: Remote, work from home

• Company Location: Australia

• Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Work Hours (PH Time): 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (TBC)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

PODCAST MANAGEMENT

a) Edit pre-recorded podcast episodes using audio editing tools.
b) Upload and publish podcast episodes to platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Buzzsprout.
c) Review analytics to track audience growth and engagement.
d) Suggest improvements and new content ideas based on insights and trends.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

a) Plan, create, and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn using tools like Buffer or Later.
b) Write thoughtful, engaging captions aligned with brand tone.
c) Edit short-form video content for social platforms, including adding subtitles and brand elements.
d) Repurpose podcast content into social media clips, quotes, and visuals.
e) Respond to comments and messages to encourage audience engagement.

YOUTUBE & SEO

a) Upload, optimise, and manage content on YouTube, including writing titles, descriptions, and tags.
b) Create basic thumbnails and ensure consistent formatting.
c) Apply SEO best practices to content titles, tags, and descriptions.
d) Support with keyword research and basic Google AdWords management.

SYSTEMS & DOCUMENTATION
a) Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring tasks to support future team growth.
b) Align all content with brand voice, tone, and goals across multiple businesses.

Software skills

You have experience with:

• The latest audio editing tools.

• Podcast platforms: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Buzzsprout.

• Social media tools: Canva, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite.

• YouTube, CapCut, iMovie, and basic thumbnail tools.

• Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or any project management tool.

Nice to Haves:

Basic knowledge of Google AdWords, SEO tools.

We want to hear from you if you have…

• 4+ years of remote experience in podcast editing, social media, and content marketing, working directly for US, Australia, and /or European clients. No BPOs.

• Strong skills in video/audio editing, copywriting, and content creation and management.

• Hands-on experience with YouTube, SEO best practices, and content analytics.

• A portfolio showcasing content you’ve created or managed (podcasts, videos, posts).

• Experience with tools like Canva, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite, and basic video editors.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• A long-term mindset with an ability to document systems as you grow with the role.
