Web Developer

Job Description: We are looking for people whose lines of interest revolve around web development. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining different kinds of websites and handling their technical aspects, including performance and capacity. You will work closely with the whole development team and collaborate with the sales and marketing team and content professionals. Skills and Requirements: — Degree in Computer and Software related fields — Preferably with at least a year or more of experience — Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications. — Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS — Proficient in My SQL — Knowing different JS Frameworks is a plus but not required — Experience in API development — Knowledgeable in web hosting administration (Cpanel, DNS management, Migration, FTP) — Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX — Good knowledge of image authorizing tools to be able to crop, resize, or perform minor adjustments on an image. (i.e, Photoshop/Illustrator and Canva) — Good understanding of SEO principles — Solid experience in WordPress (building pages, maintaining blogs, etc.) — Knowledgeable in Page speed optimization (Page speed insights and GT Metrix) — Excellent debugging and optimization skills in technical SEO using tools such as SEMrush and Yoast SEO — Other programming languages such as .NET, Phyton, and C# are a bonus. — Experience with a platform such as Shopify, Clickfunnel, and CheckoutChamp. — Knowledgeable in Network Security — Knowledgeable in Google Tools (Analytics, Console, Webmasters) — Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite is required — Effective communication skills and creative English writing skills with attention to grammar — A positive working attitude and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times — Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills — Ability to keep all critical information private (confidentiality) — Tech-Savvy — Has a reliable working PC, a stable internet connection, and a noise-canceling headset — Punctuality — Teamwork and collaboration skills — Ability to maintain brand consistency and accuracy in any task — Comfortable working with a time-tracking tool Duties and Responsibilities: — Designing and building the website front-end — Create long-form HTM pages — Designing and managing the website, conducting performance tests, monitoring the performance of the live website, and troubleshooting content issues — Generating WordPress themes and plugins — Determining the structure and design of web pages — Ensuring user experience determines design choices and developing features to enhance the user experience — Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design — Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones — Building reusable code for future use — Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability — Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages — Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design
