Assistant Accountant (Remote)

Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and budgets Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and perform other general ledger reconciliations Assist with payroll processing and other HR-related tasks Assist with audit and tax preparation activities Provide support to other departments as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field At least 2 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities
