Freight Operations Coordinator (US)

Description As a remote operations specialist, the key mission is to provide excellent customer service for our US customers. You would manage our customer shipments from PO raised to delivery, working collaboratively with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Pricing and Procurement. As a member of the supply chain operations team, reporting to the Operations team, this role lies at the heart of the Zencargo business/customers and is a mission-critical role in helping Zencargo to continue to scale at pace. Key Responsibilities As a Zencargo Operations Coordinator you will: Ensure Zencargo delivers the highest standard for customers and all shipments move ìon-timeî and exceptions are handled appropriately. You will be responsible for ensuring we deliver our customers operational KPIís Be responsible for executing the end-to-end movement of our customer product through our network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements. You will understand and follow the customers requirements through their standard operating procedures (SOP). As the customer needs evolve, you will refine the customer operational requirements by working with the CSM to update the customers SOP. You will respond to customers escalations, collaborating with customer success managers to solve customer issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination. You will handle client issues that require advanced industry knowledge. You will ensure shipment and data metrics consistently meet customer expectations. You will collaborate with our operations partners and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the shipment lifecycle. You will support in process improvement or implementing improved processes when required Skills Knowledge and Expertise Understanding when to/ when not to escalate Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills Willing Able to react quickly whilst maintaining focus and attention to detail Embracing change management - short/ medium and long term EU Languages desirable but not essential Experience with ERP/ Microsoft Excel, PP + Word Challenge the status quo and be part of the solution About Zencargo Zencargo is a digital-first freight forwarder & logistics provider.
