Digital Freedom Productions is the go-to podcast production company and strategic growth partner for life coaches who want to grow their businesses through impactful podcasting and content. We’re passionate about amplifying coaches' voices by delivering their message with care and excellence. At DFP, we handle every production detail, allowing our clients to focus on their ideas and impact.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Part-Time Audio Podcast Editor to join our close-knit, communicative, dynamic team. As an editor, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, polished audio content that amplifies the voices of our clients in the self-help and coaching space.
If you’re excited about the craft of editing, obsessed with hitting deadlines, and eager to collaborate on projects that make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit podcast episodes for clarity, pacing, and flow.
Remove unwanted noise, filler words, stammers, and other distractions using Adobe Audition, including Spectral Editing.
Enhance the overall audio experience by fine-tuning speech pacing, volume levels, and tone.
Work closely with the production team to ensure content resonates with listeners and meets client needs.
Provide constructive feedback to help clients improve their recordings.
Manage multiple episodes and meet tight deadlines.
Stay updated on AI tools and innovations that improve audio editing workflows.
Apply If You:
Are an expert in Adobe Audition, including using Spectral Display for editing.
Have a deep understanding of podcasting, particularly in the self-help and coaching space.
Take pride in delivering clear, professional, and clean audio.
Understand how pacing, sound quality, and flow impact listener engagement.
Are skilled at adjusting speech pacing to feel natural and engaging—no awkward pauses or overly fast edits.
Have experience with AI tools (such as iZotope) to enhance the audio editing process.
Thrive in a collaborative environment and value feedback.
Are passionate about helping podcast hosts grow their shows and reach their audiences.
Don’t Apply If You:
Are building your own agency or prefer working only on personal projects.
Think podcasting is just a hobby, not a strategic growth tool.
Aren’t open to AI tools or innovations that can streamline your workflow.
Struggle with handling large audio files or meeting tight turnaround deadlines.
Can’t commit to team meetings between 9–11am EST a couple of times per week.
Required Tools & Skills:
Adobe Audition: Skilled in editing solo episodes and interviews for clarity, flow, and impact.
AI tools: Comfortable using AI to improve the speed and quality of audio editing.
Amount of work: Starting with 1-2 episodes per week, with potential to expand.
