About the Role:

We need an experienced writer who combines insurance industry knowledge with SEO expertise to create educational content that helps pet parents make informed insurance decisions while driving organic traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Write insurance guides, policy comparisons, and educational articles
• Create SEO-optimized content that ranks and converts
• Explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms
• Develop customer success stories and case studies
• Conduct keyword research and optimize for search

Required Qualifications:

Insurance Experience:

• 3+ years writing about insurance products (pet insurance preferred)
• Strong understanding of policy structures, exclusions, and claims
• Experience explaining financial products to consumers

SEO & Content Marketing:

• Proven track record creating content that ranks on Google
• Experience with keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Knowledge of on-page SEO and conversion optimization
• Familiarity with Google Analytics

Writing Skills:

• Exceptional writing and research abilities
• Portfolio of insurance/financial content
• Ability to translate complex topics into accessible language

Preferred Qualifications

• Pet insurance industry experience
• Insurance licensing/certification
• Email marketing and A/B testing experience
