Position Overview

  • Position: Virtual Assistant for Australian Trades Business
  • Location: Remote – work from home
  • Type: Contract – full-time
  • Estimated Duration: Ongoing
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Starting Rate: $900 AUD per month salaried position
    • Includes Australian holiday/sick leave entitlements
    • Includes Filipino extra month (e.g. 4 weeks paid annual leave)
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Trades Businesses
    • Social Media Management
    • Previous work with Australian companies

You must have excellent English communication skills – speak very clearly and be easily understood by Australians.
Preference will be given to applicants with Simpro or other Trades-related Job Management System experience (e.g. Tradify, Wunderbuild, BuildXact, Ascora etc).

 

About the Company

You will be part of the Breaking BAS team – Bookkeeping and Virtual Admin for Trades Businesses in Australia.

Breaking BAS is a sister company to Small Fish Business Coaching – coaching for Trades Businesses. We will all be working together to provide comprehensive support for ATD Electrical.

You will be a full-time assistant to the Business Owner and Office Manager.

Job Description

Your role would involve:

  • Answering phones, calling customers and suppliers – your spoken English must be excellent
  • Management of SimPro (job management system), including:
    • Invoicing
    • Leads
    • Quotes
    • Checking payments
    • Liaising with customers with outstanding invoices
  • Sending collection emails and making collection calls
  • Identifying and rectifying duplicates, errors and misspellings in SimPro and other platforms – your written English must be excellent
  • General admin tasks that will increase as the role matures
    • In time, you will act as the Office Manager when the current one is away
  • Creating Excel spreadsheets to track KPIs
  • Social Media tasks:
    • Process Google reviews
    • Review and like ATD social media posts
    • In time, create social media posts
  • You may be required to learn to populate the Big Numbers Tracker – a tool created by Small Fish Business Coaching (training will be provided)
