🎯 Here’s the opportunity:

We're looking for a high-output thumbnail designer to help scale AOM's presence across YouTube. You'll be taking video concepts, raw footage, and brand guidelines — and turning them into click-worthy, scroll-stopping thumbnails that drive views and engagement. You'll be responsible for a mix of channels – AOM and the founders'.

You'll work closely with the Head of Content to make sure the visual style, messaging, and brand consistency match the AOM identity.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Design 7–10 thumbnails per week for YouTube content
• Apply creative direction from our Head of Content
• Implement hooks, color psychology, text overlays, and facial expressions that maximize CTR
• Iterate based on A/B testing results + performance data
• Rehash previous thumbnails to maximise CTR

• Consistent weekly thumbnail output
• Click-through rate (CTR) improvements
• View count + engagement growth on YouTube channels

💼 Key Responsibilities

1. Designing for Maximum CTR
   • Create eye-catching, platform-native YouTube thumbnails
   • Use bold text, contrasting colors, and compelling visuals that match the AOM brand
2. Collaboration + Feedback
   • Work with Head of Content to follow briefs + creative direction
   • Improve based on thumbnail performance data (we'll give you insights)
3. Creative Exploration
   • Pitch new thumbnail styles, formats, and visual trends

   • Add your own creative flair where it enhances performance
