This position involves conducting comprehensive clinical audits to assess the effectiveness and accuracy of healthcare services, with a focus on improving outcomes and identifying areas for ongoing quality enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed clinical audits by extracting data from patient charts, reviewing medical records, and analyzing clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements based on audit findings, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop actionable plans that drive clinical excellence.
  • Review and assess adherence to clinical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and administrators, to provide feedback and support in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations while ensuring the integrity of audit data.
  • Promote the mission and vision of Medical Director Services by supporting continuous improvement efforts that enhance patient outcomes and the quality of care provided.
  • Compile and present audit findings in reports for leadership, offering recommendations for clinical and operational enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
  • Prior experience in clinical auditing, quality assurance, or healthcare compliance is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical practices, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex clinical data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and leadership.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare auditing.
