Hometown Hype helps small local businesses grow by promoting them on a shared 9x12 postcard that’s mailed to thousands of homes in the neighborhood. We support the community by offering affordable, high-visibility marketing with zero competition on the card.

Position Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and personable Advertising Sales Representative to connect with small business owners and help them claim their spot on our monthly postcard. You’ll play a key role in growing our client base, building lasting relationships, and ensuring businesses in the community get the exposure they deserve.


Responsibilities:

Prospect and reach out to small local businesses in designated neighborhoods

Present and sell advertising spots on our monthly 9x12 postcard

Educate potential clients on the value of direct mail and Hometown Hype’s unique approach

Manage leads, follow-ups, and customer relationships

Collaborate with our design team to ensure ads meet client expectations

Hit monthly sales goals and help shape future postcard editions

Represent the brand professionally, by phone, and via email


Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, especially B2B or local marketing (preferred)

Passion for small business and community growth

Confident communicator with strong persuasion and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets)


Compensation:

$50/week Base pay + Commission
