As we continue to grow, we are seeking an  Audit Data Analyst to join our team and help drive our mission forward.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Formatting data from utility providers
• Audit utilities, hotels, sales taxes, telecommunications, and cable franchise fees for possible errors in tax reporting to municipalities.
• Research and interpret local municipal tax ordinances to determine financial compliance by utility providers.
• Create financial models to calculate estimated back taxes owed to municipalities by taxpayers that include interest, penalties, and duration of unremitted taxes.
• Present audit results and ordinance recommendations to Principal Analyst.

Requirements

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written.
• Demonstrable detail-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of a high school degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in an office setting.
