My name is Travis Rose and I am the founder of Growing Roses ( www.growingroses.io ) , my (for now) solo process consultancy helping clients implement ClickUp as a work management platform. I am based in Dallas, Texas. 

I work with companies across many industries but have a speciality focus on construction engineering. My projects vary in length from 2 weeks to multiple years, and I typically have between 5-10 projects occurring simultaneously.

I started my company in November of 2023, and although things are generally going very well, I have recognized I would likely benefit from a “type-A” personality to serve as my project manager. The overarching objective for this position is to make each of my projects as productive and efficient as possible. What this practically looks like is co-building and maintaining a set of repeatable processes for each project - including the creation of action items, meeting notes, status updates, invoices, etc.

If you’re the one I’m looking for, you are a detail-oriented person who loves keeping things organized. You have no problem holding your boss (me) accountable to what he said he’d do.



~~Requirements (these are real, actual requirements)~~
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Availability to work my typical schedule: Monday-Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM CST
- Access to a modern computer/internet capable of Zoom calls and basic browser usage 
- Comfort in taking notes / assigning action items live on client calls
- Excitement to learn various different processes as this role evolves



~~Responsibilities Over Time~~
>> Within the first week…
Lead a daily 1v1 standup with me to time-block my calendar with the highest priority tasks. Each day, you will prepare to lead the next day’s meeting by:
- Watching meeting recordings from the prior day
- Creating action items in our internal instance of ClickUp
- Modifying start/due dates as necessary based on changing priorities
- Creating a list of questions you have on each meeting

>> Within 30 days…
- Create action items directly in client instances of ClickUp, assigning items to clients as necessary
- Draft biweekly status reports for each project
- Respond to basic ClickUp questions in select client instances

>> Within 90 days…
- Attend all virtual client meetings & create meeting minutes/action items during meeting
- Process my email inbox by sending standard replies & notifying me of any urgent items
- Follow up with clients on any of their past-due action items
- Create invoices
- Complete misc. other processes that are bound to come up



~~Benefits~~
Although this position will formally be a third party contractor, informally I view this role as a long-term valued member of my team. With that in mind, the role comes with the following benefits:

>> Weekly Salary, No Time Tracking
This position has a consistent salary paid weekly via your preferred method (EasyPay, Wise, PayPal, etc.). No time tracking required. 

Note: This position requires trust on both sides. I expect this position to work an average of 40 hours per week (excluding any paid time off, see below). If you ever feel I am asking you to work more than that, you should share that with me. If I ever feel that you are working less than 40 hours per week, I will bring this up with you. 

>> 13th Month
I plan to send a customary 13th month payment each December, pro-rated based on hire date for the first year.

>> Paid Time Off
- With proper notice, you are encouraged to take paid time off. At a minimum I would expect you to take 2 weeks (10 days) off a year, but there is no strict limit within reason as long as work is getting done. 
- Emergency situations (sickness, bereavement, etc.) are paid as well within reason.
- If I am not working, your workload will be greatly reduced. I always take a week and a half off in the summer (between June - August), and two weeks at the end of December so this would serve as partial time off for you. 
- Eventually, if business growth allows, I would like us both to formally reduce our work week down to 32 hours Mon-Thurs, taking every Friday off. Help me achieve this goal! :) 

>> Flexible Work Hours
In general I’d prefer you to work my typical schedule (Monday-Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM CST), but I recognize that sometimes it’s helpful to shift that time to accommodate personal errands. As long as you communicate clearly and are not missing meetings, the hours you work are flexible.

>> General Wellness / Personal Improvement
I want you to thrive as an individual, so I am happy to work with you (if you desire) on things like creating a budget to save/pay off debt, etc., physical fitness, mental health, professional development, etc. I am here to support you however I can, both inside and outside of work.

>> Salary increases
As the business grows, your salary will be re-evaluated for increases. Any ideas you implement that lead to efficiencies and/or increased profits will be rewarded accordingly. 



~~Application Process~~
1) Respond to this application with the instructions given in the video at the top of this post, along with the code word “Reveille” in the subject. 

2) Within 2 business days, if you are selected to move forward I will send you a link to schedule a 15 minute video interview with me.

3) Within 1 business day following the interview, if you are selected to move forward I will ask you to schedule the paid test project. Once sent, you will have 24 hours to complete the project, which should take you no more than 2 hours to complete. You will be paid 600 PHP for the completion of the project.

4) Within 1 business day following the completion of your project, if you are selected to move forward I will ask you to schedule a final 1 hour interview with me.

5) Within 5 business days after your interview, you will be notified whether you have been accepted for the role.
