About Us
At Indie People, we’re building a cheeky, dog-loving HR consultancy that’s redefining what “human resources” feels like. Our team uses Monday.com as the central nervous system of the business, and we’re now looking for a CRM Specialist to take our systems to the next level – automating, integrating, and optimising everything so we can run lean, fast, and efficient.
Role Purpose
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Monday.com ecosystem and its integrations with other tools. Your mission: make Indie People the most efficient HR consultancy around by automating processes, connecting native and non-native applications, and finding cost-effective solutions to scale without waste.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Development & Optimisation
Own the design, structure, and workflows of our Monday.com setup across all departments (sales, client delivery, finance, marketing, operations).
Build boards, dashboards, automations, and integrations that streamline lead management, client onboarding, case tracking, and reporting.
Automation & Integration
Develop automation workflows within Monday.com and integrate external tools (e.g., MailerLite, Ringover/VoIP, WhatsApp, Employment Hero, accounting platforms).
Use APIs, Integromat/Make, Zapier, and other middleware when native integrations don’t exist.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
Map out existing processes and re-engineer them for maximum efficiency.
Proactively suggest improvements and cost-saving alternatives.
Data Management & Reporting
Ensure data cleanliness, consistency, and reliability across the CRM.
Build reporting dashboards that provide live visibility on KPIs, client activity, pipeline health, and financial performance.
Support & Training
Provide internal support for CRM-related issues.
Deliver training sessions and documentation so the whole team can confidently use the system.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in building and scaling Monday.com systems (ideally certified).
Strong understanding of CRM workflows, sales pipelines, and project/HR service delivery tracking.
Experience with both native integrations (Monday Apps Marketplace, Zapier) and non-native/API solutions.
Comfortable with low-code/no-code automation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset – always thinking “how can this be more efficient?”
Demonstrated ability to design cost-effective solutions.
Desirable:
Experience in HR, professional services, or consultancy environments.
Knowledge of employment law/HR systems (bonus if you’ve used Employment Hero, MailerLite, or VoIP/WhatsApp platforms).
Understanding of data privacy/GDPR compliance in CRM design.
Key Attributes
Process-driven, detail-oriented, and relentless about efficiency.
Comfortable balancing technical build with commercial practicality.
Strong communicator who can explain systems simply.
Creative and resourceful in finding smart, budget-friendly solutions.
Self-starter who thrives in a small but fast-moving team.
What We Offer
The chance to own and shape the CRM backbone of a growing consultancy.
Flexibility – work from anywhere, with autonomy.
Competitive salary + performance incentives.
A genuinely fun, dog-themed, non-corporate culture ????.
