AWS Hosting Expert

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Hosting Expert to design and implement a scalable, secure, and high-performance hosting environment capable of supporting over 400 WordPress websites. This is a crucial infrastructure role with long-term potential. The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS, is well-versed in WordPress hosting optimization, and can deliver practical solutions tailored for reliability, speed, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and build a custom AWS hosting environment for 400+ WordPress websites
• Implement best practices for performance, security, and uptime
• Automate deployment and management processes using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar
• Set up monitoring, backups, and redundancy protocols
• Optimize the environment for high availability and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with the DFY team to ensure seamless website onboarding and migration
• Provide documentation and train team members on environment management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS experience, specifically in web hosting environments
• Proven experience hosting and managing large-scale WordPress infrastructures
• Strong understanding of EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, Load Balancers, and VPCs
• Proficiency with Linux server administration and command line tools
• Experience implementing security best practices and compliance protocols
• Solid understanding of DNS, SSL, and CDN integrations

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS)
• Familiarity with performance optimization (Redis, Varnish, caching plugins)
• Prior work with hosting panels or automation tools (RunCloud, ServerPilot, etc.)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python)
